Real Stories From My Clinic: The Reluctant Scientist...

Updated: Mar 19

You come in because your digestion just isn’t right.

IBS symptoms that have been hanging around far too long.

We do the testing.

You make a few changes.

And not long after… you start feeling really good!

So good, in fact, that you bring your daughter in too, she’s been struggling with skin issues.

She starts feeling better as well.

And then comes the next challenge…

Dad.

He’s not interested.

He’s a scientist...

He’s polite, but you can tell he’s thinking:

“What on earth am I doing here?”

Eventually he agrees to be tested, (mostly to keep the peace).

A bit of a “fine, I’ll try it” moment.

We test.

We talk through some of his uncomfortable symptoms.

He makes some small changes.

A couple of weeks later…

He’s feeling loads better too!

Sometimes the biggest sceptics are the most surprised.

And honestly, I love that.

Because this work isn’t about convincing people, it’s about helping them understand what their body is telling them, in their own way, in their own time.

Everyone responds differently, but understanding your own triggers can sometimes make a bigger difference than you expect!
